SAP, the official analytics partner of the WTA and WTA Finals, took a look at important stats behind each player competing at this year's WTA Finals.

SAP's metrics are providing deeper statistical and analytical data for players and coaches, shedding new light on how players learn about themselves and their opponents. The data also helps quantify the great on-court action for fans, broadcasters and media.

SERENA WILLIAMS served an incredible 418 aces in 2014. This helped her along to an impressive 48-7 record in 2014. Her powerful serve helped her save 63% of break points faced this year.

ANA IVANOVIC played an astounding 72 matches prior to the WTA Finals this year, winning 56 of them. On average she served 3.17 aces per match in 2014. And her all round game has seen her win 47.31% of return points played.

SIMONA HALEP celebrated another strong year following her breakthrough 2013 season with a 43-14 record.  Her impressive technique led her to win 48.59% of return points. While her smart tactical play helped her win 66.37% points won on first serve.

GENIE BOUCHARD is a 20-year-old who excels in big matches as evidenced by her impressive Grand Slam Record in 2014 of 19-4. She served a total of 149 aces this season with a steady 1st Serve Percentage of 60.50%.

MARIA SHARAPOVA served an impressive 185 aces in 2014. This drove to a strong 48-11 record in 2014 so far. Her powerful groundstrokes helped her win over 48% of return points this year.

CAROLINE WOZNIACKI enjoyed an outstanding 1st Serve Percentage of almost 70% in 2014. This consistency enabled her to save almost 60% of break points and her all-around game  helped her to a 46-18 mark in 2014.

PETRA KVITOVA served an impressive 258 aces in 2014. Her strong service powered her to win almost 69% of first serve points while her powerful game saw her earn a 40-14 record in matches this season.

AGNIESZKA RAWDWANSKA connected on 65% of her First Serves. Combined with her impressive tactical return play she won 49% of return points. Radwanska demonstrated amazing consistency this season, chalking up a 46-19 record.
