- Kops-Jones enters the week in the No.8 spot, but would need to reach the semifinals in order to add any points as their 11th best result is 100 points
- Hlavackova/Hradecka need to reach the finals in order to add any points this week, and would need to reach the final in order to move ahead of the Spanish doubles team and win the title in order to move ahead of Kops-Jones/Spears
- Hradecka is entered into the main draw in Luxembourg and, thus, Hlavackova/Hradecka cannot add any points next week as Luxembourg does not count for WTA Finals qualification
- Kops-Jones/Spears will be able to add points if they play Moscow next week
