Thailand, India, Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei and Laos are the latest countries to announce who will represent them in the event to be held in conjunction with the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global.

The remaining countries that will be represented at the WTA Future Stars event have announced their qualifiers.

The program features competition for young girls across the Asia-Pacific region with a vision to promote high-level athlete development, health, fitness and empowerment of women through tennis.

The qualifiers from each country will compete at the Kallang Tennis Centre on October 17-19 in conjunction with the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global, with the finals being played on Center Court at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on October 20. The players will also get to meet with some of this year's WTA Finals' stars and Legends.

Thailand's 14s representative will be Thasaporn Naklo and its 16s representative will be Manita Bootsarakomvisit.

India's 14s representative will be Mahak Jain and its 16s representative will be Karman Kaur Thandi.

"Representing my country, India, at the WTA Future Stars tournament is indeed a very big and proud moment for me," Jain said. "Over and above the opportunity to see, meet and watch top WTA stars play is unbelievable. I just can't wait to be there."

"This is a great opportunity for juniors to play in conjunction with WTA superstars and be the future stars," Thandi said.

Hong Kong's 14s representative will be Justine Leong and its 16s representative will be Claudia Ng.

"I am excited and can't wait to meet the stars in Singapore, in particular Serena because she just won the US Open and got her 18th Grand Slam," Leong said. "I think Serena is a great player!"

"I'm so excited for this WTA event because it's such a 'once in a lifetime' experience," Ng said. "It's so thrilling that we will actually get to see and meet the top WTA players. I cannot wait to go to Singapore!"

Chinese Taipei's 14s qualifier is Tzu-Hsun Hsu and its 16s qualifier is Hsiang Wen Huang.

"To me, tennis isn’t only playing but also experiencing life," Hsu said. "I deeply hope that one day I can make my way to international competition."

"It is my honor to be chosen to participate in the WTA Future Stars tournament," Huang said. "This will be my first time competing overseas. I am excited and thrilled to be part of this extraordinary competition against other top players in this remarkable city. I will do my best."

Finally, Laos' 14s representative is Papou Phothisomephone and its 16s representative is Antiphone Saiyason.

In addition to their on-court experience, each WTA Future Stars qualifier will participate in a community project in their local market.
