3-time WTA Finals qualifier Samantha Stosur and Lesia Tsurenko claimed International-level titles this week in Bad Gastein and Istanbul, respectively.

Samantha Stosur, a WTA Finals qualifier from 2010-2012, won the NÜRNBERGER Gastein Ladies title in Bad Gastein, Austria for her second title of the 2015 season. She came from the brink of defeat against No.3 seed Karin Knapp to win the tournament and boost her Road to Singapore ranking. The Australian, a winner at the 2011 U.S. Open, moved from No.31 to No.23 with the title. Knapp moved 12 positions and site in the No.50 slot this week. Another mover this week from Bad Gastein was WTA Rising Star Anna Karolina Schmiedlova, who stands just shy of the Top 25.

Istanbul, Turkey had the other International-level event this week with the TEB BNP Paribas Istanbul Cup. Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko defeated Urszula Radwanska to win the first WTA title of her career. Tsurenko, who only dropped one set en route to the title, cut her RTS ranking is half and stands at No. 45 this week. Radwanska moved 34 spots to the No.63 spot.

There were no changes from last week's Top 8 with 2015 BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global qualifier Serena Williams leading the pack.Maria Sharapova and Simona Halep trail the 5-time WTA Finals champion with Carla Suárez Navarro and Garbiñe Muguruza rounding out the Top 5. Finishing out the Top 8 are Czechs Lucie Safarova, Karolina Pliskova and Petra Kvitova. Timea Bacsinszky and Angelique Kerber currently hold the alternate positions and hope to use the American hardcourt swing as a way to punch their ticket to Singapore.

This week holds the final International-level events in Europe before the North American hardcourt swing. Tatjiana Maria iand WTA Rising Star Ajla Tomljanovic are the top seeds at the Brasil Tennis Cup in Florianapolis, Brazil.Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, who is in the running for a doubles spot at the 2015 BNP Paribas WTA Finals presented by SC Global, and Knapp lead the pack at the Baku Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan. The final event this week is a WTA 125k Series event in Nanchang, China with RTS No.21 Jelena Jankovic and WTA Rising Star Saisai Zheng headlining the player field,
